Great series against the twins

The past four games against the Twins couldn't have gone much better for the Yankees. With three walk of wins, and one close game, it was a great series. I think this is just what the Yankees needed. Hopefully we can move forward and continue winning games!

Tonights game against Roy Halladay and the Jays

I woke up this morning wondering if the Yankees will be able to beat the amazing Roy Halladay in the first game of a three game set against Toronto. More specifically, will the Yankees OFFENSE be able to produce against him. They have struggled all year and going against a Cy Young pitcher concerns me. I think the key to this game is not necessarily just getting hits off of Halladay-it is imperative to go deep in the count and have good at bats. This way, maybe his pitch count will be up and they will need to go to the bullpen. The whole Blue Jay team has been playing great baseball this year, but in the long run I am not worried about them. They usually start off this way and come all star break they aren't even in the rearview mirror of first place in the AL east. Another key to this game is that Burnett keep the game close.

I hate the red sox

I hate the Red Sox with almost the same passion that I love the Yankees. And losing 4 out of the first 4 games to them is just embarrassing. I HATE that they won the first game against the Yankees at the new stadium. I guess it isn't the biggest deal, but it bothers me. Jason Bay of the Red Sox has been killing us this year. Hell, all of the team usually does better against the Yankees than they do against most other teams. Tonights win I think is very important. Going 0-4 against them so far is bad enough!

Last nights game was disappointing. We had a good shot at the win, but came up short. After Girardi got kicked out, the Yanks seemed to wake up a little, but it wasn't enough. I also am concerned for Jorge Posada's health. He hurt his hamstring and will have an MRI today. PLEASE GOD DON'T LET HIM BE OUT FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME! His absence last season shows us how much we missed him.
